Another mother's day treat

Neve and I had a busy day in the kitchen making a lovely strawberry tart for after lunch tomorrow.  Mmmmm ..........

Buttons and bows

I went to visit a friend on Tuesday who let me rummage through three tins of buttons (yes three).  I was in heaven.  I came away with some beauties.  I did not realise how much vintage buttons cost and I am so very lucky to have got my mits on these beauties

I have had two mothers day cards to make this week and I decided to make them identical - that way no rows lol.  They did not turn out as i had planned but I like the way they did turn out and i found two buttons in my new stash which matched the (free) papers i used from Summer Driggs perfectly.

A girl can never havetoo many pairs of shoes ...

thats what I tell the husband anyway lol.  I loved making this card so watch this post as I will be making it in many more colours lol.

The papers are Pink Petticoat papers in pistachio.
